Takin' The Solution To The Politcal Reps

As a person living in California that is not only a direct descendent of the 49ers from back in 1849's gold rush, but is also 1/4 Miwok, there is a lot of political clout that be weilded when it becomes necessary.
The time has come for us all to show our spears and let Washington, DC know in no uncertain terms that we will not idly stand by while innocent children are used as pawns in a vicious game of chicken by our current President.
#45 is doing this in order to get the funding for his ridiculous wall.  As I write this, Congress is putting together a bill that will outlaw seperating children from their parents in this manner.  Nice try, but much too civilized for the current tactics that are being perpretrated upon innocent children. The bill will also take forever and will more than likely be vetoed unless there is money allowed for the "wall."
It is my understanding that children's "beds" are being crammed along side one another which is against the regulations of those that oversee facilities that "house" children.  Regs require that the mats be 18 inches apart.  Also, regs require that a diaper be changed every 2 hours unless they have a BM which is changed immediately.
When it comes to children being warehoused in such a manner as is currently happening at the hands of Homeland Security, the children are being abused and regulations that were developed to protect children are not being followed.
For instance, it's one thing to have "guards" watching over them, but quite another if they are also the ones providing child care.  People providing child care services are required to have certain credentials.  Do these "guards" have these credentials?  This is a very serious matter.  If any civilian attempted to do this with children, DCPS would haul their asses into court ASAP.
This is an avenue available in order to spare these innocents any further trauma.
Yes, I am tired of our borders being flooded by illegals, yes, I am very concerned about drug dealers from the Cartels dealing drugs and undermining our populace and yes, the viciousness of the gang members is a major concern, BUT using children as a pawn is not the way to go about it.
A message must be sent loud and clear today that this is unacceptable.
If a stand is taken today and inspectors from the relevent agencies are called upon by our reps to investigate child care facilities, it is a given that citations will be handed out like candy on Halloween and the custody of the children will be given a second thought as the fines for violations mount and the DHS finds their coffers being drained by having to pay the overwhelming amount of fines.
In addition, if CHILDREN become the issue and not #45, the NAEYC, Bright horizons Family Solutions, UTLA and numerous other organizations will be quick to pick up the cause and rally around those that dare to actively protect the children of illegals.

  1. Congress is meeting today to create a bill that will make it illegal to warehouse detained children. LOL. Good luck with that, because unless you are giving him money for his wall he'll veto it. My idea is more immediate and will hurt DHS's pocketbook with fines NOW
